In this lesson, you will gain an understanding of the key events in the physical supply chain and the financial consequences of each one.
In this lesson, you will identify what drives application of supply chain finance products by identifying the financing and risk mitigation needs that they meet at different stages of the supply chain.
You will also analyse the applicability of these products across the supply chain to the needs of the clients they serve and how these products are organised.
In this lesson, you will learn the key factors to be considered and processes involved in identifying the optimum supply chain finance solution to meet a client’s business needs.
You will also learn the three key factors that are critical to successful implementation of a supply chain financing.
In this lesson, you will analyse the effectiveness, scope and scalability of currently available supply chain finance products and discover the gaps in the current proposition.
In this lesson we explore some of the more significant SCF innovations currently being progressed by banks, alternative finance providers and fintechs.
In this section, we will take a look at a sample case study that shows how simple solutions can remedy problems often seen in this sector.

This course forms part of the curriculum for the Certified Trade Finance Professional (CTFP) but can also be purchased on its own.
If you just complete this course then you will earn a Letter of Completion once you finish (please note there is no exam for this individual course).
However, this course can also be put towards achieving the CTFP qualification. More details can be found here.
If you complete the CTFP then you will earn a Certificate of Achievement, signed by the ICC Secretary General, once you pass the final exam.
All candidates need to be able to read and write in English. For this course, we recommend that you have completed ICC Academy’s Introduction to Supply Chain Finance first or have +5 years experience working in SCF.
