Tat Yeen Yap

Tat Yeen joined Maybank Singapore in his current role in April 2024, and had previously worked extensively in trade and supply chain finance for two decades at 3 global banks. He is a pioneer of SCF in Asia, closing the first deal in 2000 at a European bank. Just prior to joining Maybank, he was managing director APAC at the fintech company that built the Singapore Trade Finance Registry.  

His professional qualifications include CDCS Advocate and Chartered Fintech Professional. His industry engagements include being a member of the drafting groups for eUCP Version 2.0, eURC Version 1.0 and ITFA’s URTEPO, an ICC DOCDEX Expert, a working group member of the Global Supply Chain Finance Forum, Sherpa of the APFF Digital Trade Finance Lab and a Chartered Industry Fellow of the Global Fintech Institute.
