Dave Meynell

Dave Meynell, a trade finance expert with over 30 years at Deutsche Bank, founded TradeLC Advisory for independent consultancy. His extensive experience includes operations, system development, sales and product management, with significant roles in global product development and e-solutions, particularly in Asia.

He is the Senior Technical Advisor to the ICC Banking Commission and was part of the ISBP Drafting Group responsible for revising the ‘International Standard Banking Practice for the Examination of Documents under Documentary Credits’ in line with the 2007 UCP 600 revision.

Dave has also written other comprehensive articles on trade finance for ICC Academy , including one on the types of documentary credits, and another on questions that will help you master documentary credits.
